Echizen Railway is located in Fukui Prefecture just north of Kyoto. In the days prior to Echizen Railway, the line experienced 2 accidents which caused operations to cease. However, demand from local residents saw the line re-open as a third sector railway. See how Echizen Railway is working to ensure its future by providing specialized services and support to the local community.
