It's finally here! The older fans have been waiting their entire lives to see these two characters in the same movie; whether they are friend or foe, this is it! Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice is finally being released this week and it's going to be a blockbuster with a predicted $350 million global weekend! This film not only pits the two iconic titans against each other but it also introduces Wonder Woman; as well as Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg to the big screen. The film is years in the making, and we’ve been following its every move since its announcement at SDCC! So the panel goes right to it with an epic discussion about BvS, with thoughts about what the future holds for the DC Movie Universe! Daredevil Season 2: Fully Binged!!! (SPOILER ALERT) Can you believe that we have an episodic series of the character Daredevil? And we just got another season which amplified everything that the first season set up. And it just got better! We have the further adventures of Matt Murdock a.k.a Daredevil, alongside Foggy and Karen, as they deal with Frank Castle The Punisher and Matt’s old murder-flame, Elektra. We’ve got Stick, we’ve got The Hand; we’ve got incredible action, and we’ve got the ying-yang debate of what Daredevil stands for as everything he believes is pulled and pushed and torn away from him by his enemies and then, ultimately, himself. It's now the panel's turn to discuss their thoughts about the groundbreaking series so be wary of spoilers as we dive in! Minor Mutations: ◾LEGO Batman images released ◾Cancelled Amazing-Spiderman 3 ◾Preacher SXSW Premiere more gory and violent than Walking Dead ◾Jeremy Renner would like a Netflix Hawkeye series ◾Miles Teller talks Fantastic Four backlash ◾Amber Heard & Jason Momoa are gearing up for Justice League ◾Lobo is back in production! Flashback: Man of Steel (2013) The controversial reboot made after the softly received Richard Donner homage sequel of Bryan Singer’s 2006 Superman Returns, this new vision of Superman came from The Dark Knight Trilogy pair of Christopher Nolan and David Goyer. It is a film that takes a look at the mythology that has been built up over the last 75+ years for the character; which places him in our world today making decisions that have many fans split right down the middle. Watchmen director Zack Snyder was hired to helm this new version, and with it he brought Superman into the new millennium. Schnepp likes to think of all comic book movies as 'Elseworlds' versions because in comics, these characters are constantly changing with the times. This is a version of Superman that is reflecting our times that we live in now; with a story that pushes those themes and ideas forward revealing just what this alien must do to eventually become “Superman.” Spotlight: The Demon This week’s spotlight shines on another of Jack “King” Kirby’s creations, called The Demon. This demon was conjured by Merlin, and fought Morgana Le Fey, but was bonded to one of King Arthur's knights named Jason Blood. This Jekyll and Hyde identity causes immortality with Jason Blood ending up as a Demonologist that fights other monsters and demons across time - speaking in rhymes and, occasionally, teaming up with other supernatural heroes like Swamp Thing. Could The Demon make a good television series or feature film?
